SALARY RANGE (EXEMPT): $90,000 - $95,000 annually, DOE (Full-Time)

POSITION SUMMARY:Responsible for the safe maintenance, repair, or replacement of plant equipment and systems, to ensure maximum production quantity and quality, while supporting the policies, goals, and objectives of the company.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
- Accountable for diagnosis of equipment malfunctions.
- Continually seeks to improve processes and refine methods of job performance.
- Adheres to safety guidelines and protocols, and assists in administering safety measures and initiatives.
- Sets goals for the maintenance department and tracks progress.
- Upholds and provides safe, high-quality, consistent products, and superior services that meet or exceed customer requirements.
- Complies with the General Safety Communication Program.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:- Oversees all phases of Maintenance operations.
- Directs all maintenance functions.
- Oversees company maintenance and equipment operation and reports malfunctions.
- Motivates maintenance employees and collaborates with other supervisors on cleaning schedules and maintenance performance.
- Involved in hiring, firing, evaluation, and other duties related to the maintenance team.
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:- Ability to read, write, calculate math, and withstand intense stress.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
- Ability to address complex problems and propose viable solutions.
- Ability to research and resolve complex management problems.
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND EQUIPMENT:- Operational knowledge of all production equipment including packaging machines.
- Intermediate computer knowledge in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) and Adobe.
- This job is inside a facility and in a warm, dry environment.
- This position requires work in a warehouse roasting facility that requires constant standing on concrete floors, exposure to loud equipment noise, and coffee dust.
- Personal protection equipment and Good Manufacturing Practices are mandatory.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE AND SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Certified Maintenance & Reliability Technician (CMRT) or Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP), or degree such as an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Industrial Maintenance Mechanic or closely related field(s) preferred.
- Excellent planning, execution, and project management skills.
- Minimum 3 years in maintenance engineering and PLC experience is essential.
- General knowledge of production coffee roasting and packing experience is a plus.
- 2 years at a management level in maintenance is preferred.
WORK HABITS:- Regular attendance and promptness are required.
- Some work may be required outside of the normal work week.
- This job requires a high degree of teamwork and managerial skills.
- This job requires the ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
