Magnolia LLC is looking for an Electrical Technician for the 2nd shift.

Summary of Functions

Ensures the operation of the plant facilities, machinery, and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on machines and installations, following diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, manufacturer’s instructions, and engineering specifications.

Duties

Employees holding this position will be required to perform any other job-related duties as requested by management.

  • Comply with all Plant, State and Federal OSHA, EPA, FDA, HACCP, and SQF regulations.
  • Ensure the operation of machinery and plant facilities. Control downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques and monitoring compliance.
  • Complete weekly plant and production downtime assignments and record all tasks in our maintenance preventive care form.
  • Perform routine and emergency service on Ammonia and Freon refrigeration equipment commonly found in industrial applications.
  • Share technical skills with new employees.
  • Determine dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts with rulers, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring devices.
  • Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, listening for issues, and using precision measuring and testing instruments. Remove defective parts and adjust functional parts by dismantling and reassembling devices.
  • Fabricate repair parts using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.
  • Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock levels.
  • Comply with quality assurance regulations, SQF, and food safety standards.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops.
  • Dress appropriately and wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Use lockout/tagout devices and procedures as required.
  • Ensure compliance with quality system, food safety, and SQF procedures.

Work Schedule: Monday 1:30pm-10:00pm, Tuesday-Friday 2:00pm-10:30pm, Saturday 7:00am-2:30pm
