Base pay range

$25.00/hr - $39.00/hr

Shift Details

Days or Overnight shifts available. Shift: 2-2-3 schedule (work 2 days, off 2 days, work 3 days, off 2 days & off 3 days). Every two weeks, you will be scheduled to work 36 hours one week and 48 hours the other.

Job Summary

Position requires the knowledge and ability to troubleshoot effectively and efficiently, repair, install, and maintain production, manufacturing, and building support equipment.

Essential Functions

• Understand and interpret written and oral instructions, read and interpret blueprints.
• Complete work orders accurately and timely.
• Perform all machine maintenance with safety and functionality as priorities.
• Identify machine parts needed for repair and inform MRO Buyer.
• Perform work from aerial platforms safely and effectively.
• Identify and report issues affecting equipment efficiency and functionality.
• Assist electricians with mechanical tasks when needed.
• Analyze test results and error messages to diagnose issues.
• Clean, lubricate, and adjust machinery parts.
• Inspect parts for defects like breakage or wear.
• Test machinery operation to diagnose malfunctions using testing devices.
• Operate repaired machinery to verify repairs.
• Reassemble equipment after inspections or repairs.
• Maintain industrial machinery and equipment.
• Study blueprints and manuals for proper installation and operation.
• Cut and weld metal to repair or fabricate parts.
• Demonstrate equipment functions to operators.
• Program computer-controlled machinery as needed.
• Record and report parts used, and requisition new parts.
• Document repairs and maintenance performed.
• Perform buildings and grounds maintenance as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Completion of a mechanical state apprenticeship program.
• Electrical knowledge and machine controls experience.

Work Requirements

• Work safely, cleanly, and ethically at all times.
• Occasional off-site travel for training and parts procurement.
• Certification for forklift, high lift, boom lift, and lockout/tagout.
• Effective communication and organizational skills.
