Propelis is seeking a Manufacturing Trainee (Machine Operator) to assist with setup, calibration, and operation of production machines in Butler, PA. You will inspect outputs, correct minor malfunctions, and ensure products meet tolerances using precision tools.

The role is onsite with potential travel; strong mechanical aptitude and collaboration are essential to succeed in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 3+ years of machine operating experience or equivalent.
• Basic MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications.
• Strong analytical, planning and budgeting abilities.
• Effective communication, teamwork and ability to work independently.
• Willingness to travel locally, nationally or internationally.

Responsibilities

• Unloads parts and inspects for quality and performs equipment set-up.
• Operates various equipment to meet production needs.
• Maintains stock of material and machine parts.
• Determine parts to be manufactured based on production orders and stock.
• Observes machine operation to detect defects or malfunctions.
• Additional duties as assigned.
