Job summary

Dal-Tile Corp. is seeking reliable personnel for the El Paso Manufacturing Team to operate production equipment and monitor production parameters. The role requires inspecting products for quality and recording data, with decisions on process adjustments and escalation to supervision as needed.

The position includes Day and Night shifts with additional night differentials of $1.00/hour on some shifts. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of manufacturing

Dal-Tile is seeking motivated and dependable individuals to join our El Paso Manufacturing Team! ! As the Manufacturing Machine Operator, we need someone to operate production equipment, monitor production parameters and make decisions on when to adjust the process.

Shifts:

A Shift – Day Shift:

• Sunday–Tuesday: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
• Wednesday: 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM.

B Shift – Night Shift:

• Sunday–Tuesday: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM.
• Wednesday: 6:00 PM – 12:00 AM.
• Additional $1.00/hour night shift differential.

C Shift – Day Shift:

• Wednesday: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM.
• Thursday–Saturday: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM.

D Shift – Night Shift:

• Wednesday: 12:00 AM – 6:00 AM.
• Thursday–Saturday: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM.
• Additional $1.50/hour night shift differential.

Candidates will have an opportunity to discuss their shift preferences during the screening process. Shift availability will depend on current and future staffing needs.

Primary Objective:

• Operates production equipment, monitors production parameters, inspects or tests product for conformance to specifications, records data, and makes decisions on when to adjust the process or contact supervision for guidance.
  • Operates production equipment according to standard operating procedures.
  • May function as a sorter, box assembler, or relief operator for the kiln or automatic sorting equipment.
  • Conducts tests or inspections as required on the control plan and according to test methods.
  • Performs additional job tasks as documented in the job task check sheet.
  • May stop production equipment when a safety, quality, or mechanical problem prevents equipment use or conformance to product requirements.
  • Follows ISO operating procedures and maintains quality checks as specified.
  • Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.
  • Keeps area safe, clean, and organized.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

Experience and Knowledge Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• 1 year Manufacturing experience preferred.

Competencies:

Routinely working at a height that requires fall protection. Good oral communications skills. Good listening skills. Ability to understand and speak basic English
