Bodycote is seeking qualified personnel for a safety-sensitive role in a heavy industrial environment. The position involves handling customer parts with crane and forklift equipment, maintaining strict safety and housekeeping standards, and safeguarding inventory.

Typical shifts run 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM on the 3rd shift, with potential overtime and weekend work. The role requires ITAR compliance and a high school diploma, plus forklift certification and manufacturing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• This position must satisfy ITAR compliance requirements, therefore candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Resident Card Holder.
• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• May be required to work overtime or any shifts, including weekends.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain forklift operator certification.
• Must have attention to detail.
• Must be able to multitask.
• 1 year manufacturing experience preferred.
• Crane and Forklift experience preferred.
• Must be able to work 3rd shift; Sunday night – Friday morning, 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM.

Responsabilités

• Report any unusual problem, irregularity or concern to HIP Operator, Supervisor or management.
• Promote safety and good housekeeping.
• Be aware of environmental concerns caused by the process and report deficiencies to Supervisor.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by position.
• Care for and protect customer inventory and work safely to prevent loss or damage.
• Report to work on time, follow directions, and interact effectively with co-workers.

Summary: Performs essential job functions as directed under close supervision. Essential Job Functions (Duties and Responsibilities): The primary duties consist of, but are not limited to the following.

• Efficiently and carefully place customer parts onto, into or out of baskets, tubs, racks or other containers as required.
• Immediately brings any unusual problem, irregularity or concern to HIP Operator, Supervisor or management.
• Practices and promotes safety and good housekeeping.
• Must be aware of environment concerns caused by process and report deficiencies to Supervisor
• Performs other tasks as assigned or dictated by position.
• This position is responsible for the care and treatment of our customer’s inventory and as such will perform duties in a safe and responsible manner to prevent customer loss or damage.
• Must have the ability to report for work on time, follow directions, interact effectively with co-workers, understand and follow rules and procedures and accept constructive criticism

Pay & Benefits InformationThe hourly pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00 per hour. Starting pay is determined based on experience, skills, and qualifications. This position is classified as non-exempt and is eligible for overtime pay in accordance with state and federal law. This role is eligible for additional compensation, including shift differential, etc., if applicable. Benefits include employee and family medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage; company paid life and disability; HSA/FSA options; 401(k) with company match; paid time off and paid holidays; and an Employee Assistance Program. Benefits eligibility begins on day 61 of employment.
