Job summary

Leprino Foods in Allendale, MI, is seeking Manufacturing Leadership Development Trainees for a roughly 12‑month program to learn modern manufacturing, people leadership, and Leprino’s cheese and nutrition operations.

Upon completion, a Production Supervisor role is expected at one of eight plants nationwide. The program aims to grow future leaders in Leprino’s production operations, with a $75,000 base salary and a $6,000 relocation package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in industrial manufacturing oriented STEM fields or agricultural science/business.
• Willing to relocate geographically for future assignments after graduation.
• Authorization to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must spend 12 months in one of the training hubs (Greeley, CO; Grand Rapids, MI; or Lemoore, CA) before supervisor placement.
• Passion to work in modern manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s in Engineering (Industrial, Chemical, Manufacturing, Mechanical) or Dairy Science/Manufacturing or Food Processing (preferred).
• Previous internship or co-op in a manufacturing environment (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Learn and demonstrate competence in manufacturing and quality processes and develop leadership skills.
• Help supervise team operations and recommend labor, cost savings, and quality improvements.
• Assist with operator training, safety, communications, performance recognition, and development programs to boost efficiency.
• Support daily shift operations to meet production standards and quality targets.
• Build strong working relationships and maintain a positive team environment.
• Prepare and deliver pre-shift meetings and post-shift handoffs.
