Job summary

International Paper’s Leadership Development Program in Tampa, FL seeks motivated individuals to participate in a multi‑discipline rotation track across manufacturing, customer service, planning, and more. You will develop leadership capabilities and apply process improvements throughout the plant environment.

Incoming associates will gain exposure to safety, quality, and operations while developing teamwork and project leadership skills for a future leadership role within International Paper.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in Engineering or Business).
• Previous experience with a manufacturing company, targeting 2+ years.
• Candidate’s ability to relocate is essential and translates to increased opportunities for selection and advancement.

Responsibilities

• Participate in rotations across manufacturing, customer service, planning, maintenance, environmental, safety, sales, front line supervision and other managerial/administrative functions.
• Lead teams of manufacturing personnel as appropriate.
• Drive continuous improvement using manufacturing reliability tools and address performance gaps at the facility.
• Lead special projects and develop solutions related to safety, process improvement, quality, capacity balance, workflow, planning and logistics issues.
• Assist in plant operations, troubleshooting, process improvement, and equipment upgrades to achieve objectives.
• Coach, train and engage employees on process improvement and business results.
• Support Sales Representatives on customer interactions regarding capability, product offerings, quality, systems and service.
