Job summary

CPC (Colder Products Company) in Minnesota seeks an experienced operations leader to own daily production across a multi‑shift line, driving safety, quality, and cost targets. You’ll lead a large direct labor team and coordinate with lean practitioners to implement continuous improvements.

The role requires 5+ years of Lean/Six Sigma and people leadership, plus strong production analytics and scheduling expertise. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing Management, or relevant field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Lean, Six Sigma, and/or continuous improvement.
• Minimum of 5 years of people leadership experience.
• Manufacturing experience in controlled environments preferred.
• Strong skills in production analytics and reporting.
• Have a strong understanding of inventory management, production planning, and scheduling.
• Knowledge of flow management techniques in low-volume/high-mix environments.
• Working understanding of ISO 9001 and health and safety best practices.
• Travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end operation performance for daily production, ensuring safety, quality, delivery and cost targets.
• Oversee shift execution across a large direct labor workforce, maintaining efficiency and SOP adherence.
• Serve as escalation point for daily operational disruptions to keep production on schedule.
• Analyze throughput metrics, capacity planning and staffing to optimize shift schedules.
• Drive Lean/Six Sigma continuous improvement and coach front‑line supervisors.
• Direct reports include Production Supervisors, Technicians, and Production personnel.
