Manufacturing Lead Machinist

Location: 61 Barnes Industrial Park North, Wallingford, CT 06492

Facility: CT180 Manufacturing Facility

Shift: Full-time, available shifts include:

1. Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm
2. Monday to Friday, 2:30pm - 11:00pm

Overview

As a Full-time Manufacturing Lead Machinist, you will oversee daily shop floor operations and support the growth of the Manufacturing division. You will collaborate with the operations manager, inside sales team, and other lead machinists to coordinate machine workloads.

Responsibilities

• Support shop operations
• Ensure quality and timely delivery of products
• Maintain accuracy while managing multiple tasks
• Provide leadership and guidance to machine operators
• Maintain timecards in the Kronos system
• Ensure a safe working environment
• Communicate effectively across shifts

Required Qualifications

• At least 2 years of manufacturing work experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong math skills, attention to detail, and urgency
• Excellent safety and attendance records
• Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills
• Problem-solving, deductive reasoning, and decision-making abilities
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Ability to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to lift, slide, carry, and lower packages weighing 25-50 lbs, up to 100 lbs
