Job summary

Powell is seeking a manufacturing leader to manage hourly staff and drive improvement in safety, quality, cost and delivery. The role emphasizes lean methods, process optimization, and regulatory compliance within a fast-paced plant environment.

Ideal candidates will have a BS degree or equivalent experience, 8+ years in manufacturing, and proven ability to lead teams of 10+ employees, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• BS degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 8 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a manufacturing project management and process improvement role, or 5 years leadership with 10+ employees.

Responsibilities

• Lead hourly employees to meet goals aligned with company objectives focusing on process, quality, cost and safety.
• Supervise and coordinate manufacturing department work with emphasis on continuous improvement.
• Identify improvement opportunities for safety and quality and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain compliance with industrial safety regulations and Powell Quality System Procedures.
• Develop and deliver effective communications and lead meetings with cross-functional teams.
