Appleton Electric, an Emerson owned metal casting foundry in South Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is seeking Manufacturing Laborers/Sorters for the 2nd shift. You will sort through and inspect metal castings, earning $21.98 per hour plus a $0.75 per hour shift differential.

Growth opportunities are available. Responsibilities include prioritizing safety, maintaining 5S standards, identifying and sorting castings, removing gating with tools, and following all site rules and regulations.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks.
• Comfort working in a hot environment.

In this role you will sort through and check quality of metal castings. The rate of pay is $21.98/hour plus a $.75/hour shift differential. Great opportunities for growth!

Some of the benefits for this position include overtime on hours worked over 8 hours in a day, prorated two weeks vacation and up to 12 weeks of paid parental leave.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Conduct all job duties with Safety as a priority and in compliance with Safety Rules
• Comply with and maintain areas to 5S standards
• Identify castings by type, perform a quality check and sort
• Use tooling equipment and hammer to break off gating
• Observe all company rules and regulations
