Job summary

Whirlpool Corporation in Cleveland, Tennessee, is seeking candidates for a Labor Pool role to support manufacturing across material movement, assembly, packing, and machine operation.

The position serves as an entry point to gain exposure to different processes and builds foundational skills in a fast-paced plant environment with opportunities for growth, training, and benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 6 months manufacturing experience required.
• Ability to stand and walk for entire shift (8–12 hours).
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Dynamically deploy and integrate assignments based on production gaps or absences.
• Perform general assembly of components and subassemblies according to work orders.
• Operate or assist with setup of production machines (presses, conveyors).
• Handle materials and logistics within the plant using manual handling equipment.
• Monitor machine operation and product quality to meet standards.
• Assist with basic maintenance tasks such as lubrication and simple repairs.
