Job summary

Whirlpool Corporation in Cleveland, TN is seeking an Auto Press Operator on the 2nd shift (Mon–Thu, 4:00pm–2:30am) to safely operate, set up and maintain automatic power presses and related metal fabrication equipment.

You will install dies, verify first-piece quality, run trials and troubleshoot CNC/PLC systems while following 5S and strict safety protocols. Training and opportunities for growth are included within a leading home appliances manufacturer.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required; Associate degree in technical discipline preferred.
• Power Press certification and Forklift/LOTO training are required or must be obtained within a set timeframe.
• Experience with CNC/PLC control systems and blueprints is essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate automatic power presses and load with cranes/forks.
• Set up dies, adjust ram stroke and feed systems to match part specs.
• Conduct first-piece inspection and quality validation; document parameters.
