Job summary

Tarter is seeking an IT Systems Manager to lead strategic planning, implementation, and maintenance of the IT infrastructure within a manufacturing setting. This role ensures IT systems operate securely and efficiently to support production and business objectives, overseeing upgrades, network security, ERP/MES integration, and cross-functional collaboration for continuous improvement and scalable growth.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS or related field.
5+ years managing IT systems in manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, servers, and cybersecurity.
Experience with ERP and MES systems.
Proven ability to lead IT teams and manage multiple projects.
Strong Cisco knowledge.
Strong VMware knowledge.
Experience with Microsoft technologies.

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain IT infrastructure including servers, networks, and manufacturing systems.
Develop IT policies and ensure security and compliance.
Collaborate with manufacturing teams to integrate IT solutions.
Oversee upgrades, backups, and disaster recovery.
Mentor IT support team and ensure high-quality service.
Monitor performance and troubleshoot issues.
Evaluate new technologies to support manufacturing.
Manage vendor relationships and contracts.
Ensure IT and data security compliance.
