Job summary

American Honda Motor Company, Inc. is seeking an IT Liaison to connect Production Engineering Business Unit (PEBU) with Honda Development & Manufacturing of America IT. You will ensure reliable, standardized IT delivery, develop software packaging standards, and lead deployment processes for associates.

The role requires data-driven analysis, governance, training programs, and cross-functional leadership to align IT initiatives with business goals across North America.

Qualifications

• Experience working on cross functional teams to implement solutions.
• Knowledge of documenting current business processes and re-engineering for improvement.
• Knowledge of customer service concepts; meeting or exceeding customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Act as the PEBU primary contact for IT issues; develop countermeasure plans and standard processes.
• Install software packages on hardware for new hires/transfers; ensure policy compliance.
• Lead the PEBU IT training program and create training plans for various roles.
• Establish and lead the PEBU IT strategy and long-term road map; gain leadership approval.
• Create and lead cross-functional teams between PEBU, HDMA, and AHM IT; set priorities.
• Develop standard software packaging profiles for each group/department.
