Job summary

Venteon is seeking an IT Director in Cincinnati to lead the technology strategy and oversee daily IT operations, infrastructure, and cybersecurity across manufacturing environments. You will partner with executive leadership to ensure technology drives growth and reliability across business systems.

The ideal candidate will bring manufacturing IT leadership, ERP/MRP experience (PLEX), strong security focus, and the ability to manage projects end-to-end while remaining hands-on when needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years leading IT operations or IT teams.
• 7+ years in manufacturing IT environments preferred.
• Experience supporting ERP/MRP and business applications.
• Familiarity with ITAR & CMMC compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and drive the company-wide IT strategy and roadmap.
• Oversee IT infrastructure, networks, servers, and cloud platforms.
• Manage IT security, data protection, backups and incident response.
• Lead help desk and user support leadership.
• Coordinate with executives to align tech with business goals.
• Oversee ERP/MRP in Plex and other systems.
• Liaise with vendors and IT providers.
• Ensure disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
