Job summary

IEM is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Technician at our Jacksonville, FL location to optimize metal fabrication and assembly processes, develop SOPs, and support QA activities. You will work with senior engineers to meet KPIs, improve efficiency, and drive continuous improvement across the work center.

In this role you will participate in process validations, capacity analyses, and production trials, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement new manufacturing technologies

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical certification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in manufacturing or assembly, preferably electrical/industrial.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and reading electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Assist PE with optimization of metal fabrication and assembly processes.
• Develop SOPs to ensure consistent production practices.
• Support quality assurance and root cause analysis for defects.
• Contribute to engineering projects: validations, capacity analysis, and trials.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to adopt new manufacturing technologies.
