Job summary

Industrial Electric Manufacturing (IEM) in Jacksonville, FL seeks a Manufacturing Engineering Technician to drive day-to-day WC execution, develop and optimize metal fabrication and assembly processes, and document improvements under senior engineers.

You will help create training, SOPs, and work instructions, support RCA and quality controls, and collaborate across teams to implement new technologies while upholding safety and lean practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a manufacturing or assembly environment, preferably electrical or industrial equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
• Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
• Commitment to safety standards and procedures; ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with optimization of metal fabrication and assembly processes to meet quality and efficiency standards.
• Develop work instructions and SOPs to ensure consistent production practices.
• Support quality assurance through root cause analysis and defect tracking.
• Contribute to process validations, capacity analyses, and production trials under senior engineers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new manufacturing technologies and process changes.
• Support Lean Manufacturing and 5S practices to improve efficiency and safety.
