Manufacturing Inspector

Responsibilities

• Inspect products against blueprints, specifications, and work instructions.
• Perform hand checks of products with a variety of measurement devices.
• Set up and run CMM inspection machines and programs.
• Complete inspection reports and review process control plans.
• Follow management’s system process for control of non‑conforming product.
• Communicate with manufacturing operators and engineers on non‑conformities and aid in determining improvements.
• Communicate with all internal inspection staff members to determine and review product conformity.
• Adhere to Management System policies, practices, and procedures.
• Submit change requests.
• Solve problems and provide technical guidance and training to staff as required.
• Continuously learn and interpret GD&T.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience (required).

• Knowledge of and basic experience with inspection equipment (calipers, micrometers, height gauges).
• Blueprint reading, basic GD&T understanding, and CMM experience (preferred).
