Trelleborg Sealing Solutions in Pawling, NY is seeking an experienced Planner to manage day-to-day customer orders from entry to delivery in a hands-on, non-analytical role. You will collaborate with Sales Engineers and manufacturing teams to ensure orders are produced and shipped on time, while maintaining high service levels.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, ERP experience, and 5 years of planning or customer service in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Five years of planning and/or customer service experience in a manufacturing environment.
• ERP experience.
• AIP Certification in lieu of experience in Planning.
• High School Degree or equivalent. Some college preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Process customer purchase orders and provide order status updates.
• Coordinate with Sales Engineers to align production with customer schedules.
• Flag material or tooling constraints and potential delays.

Exciting opportunity for an experienced Planner in the manufacturing industry. This is a hands-on, non-analytical position that requires knowledge of production processes from order entry to delivery.

About The Role

Our planners are responsible for the day-to-day management of assigned customer accounts, including processing customer purchase orders, researching, and providing status updates on open orders, and handling product returns. Will also work closely with the Sales Engineers associated with the territories and accounts assigned to plan and ensure that all products are manufactured at the right time to meet the customers' schedule, requirements, and demand.

Responsibilities

• To sensibly plan all TSS Pawling customer orders as per the requested delivery date, bearing in mind tooling, manpower, and machine resource constraints.
• To amend/cancel orders as per order fluctuations to maintain a constant WIP (work in process) level.
• Any significant future change in material consumption is to be flagged.
• Highlight the need for any new or additional tooling requirements for the Manufacturing Support functions.
• Manage ‘hands-on’ any urgent parts and take all necessary action so that the parts are ready for shipment in time.
• Review arrears and partial shipments continuously and issue a re-plan accordingly.
• Acknowledge customer delivery dates to be in line with customers’ requested dates and achieve an OTD of 95%.
• Input all incoming customer orders within 24 hours of receipt for the assigned Value Stream.
• Advise the customer beforehand of any production delays that cause the acknowledgment date to be missed.
• Generate return authorizations and process repair or replacement orders.
• Run daily invoicing.

Education And Qualifications

• High School Degree or equivalent. Some college preferred.
• AIP Certification in lieu of experience in Planning
• Five years of planning and/or customer service experience in a manufacturing environment required. Prefer experience with a custom, build to order manufacturing environment.
• ERP Experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask and stay organized

Pay Range And Compensation Package

$60,000-$65,000 depending on experience
