Job summary

USG is seeking an Manufacturing Industrial Electrician to install, maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems in a manufacturing plant. The role requires PLC controls knowledge, motor control experience, and strict adherence to NEC/NFPA-70E safety standards.

You will work Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with weekends as needed, in an Electrical department that offers comprehensive benefits including medical, 401(k) with company match and pension plans.

Qualifications

• Maintain safe working environment and follow plant policies.
• Perform installation, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical components.
• Maintain, test, and repair AC/DC motors and motor control systems.
• Troubleshoot advanced control systems and instrumentation including PLCs.

Responsibilities

• Work safely according to plant accident prevention policies.
• Keep environment clean and comply with procedures and regulations.
• Interpret and use wiring schematics.
• Operate electrical test equipment as required.
• Apply NEC codes and NFPA-70E training in manufacturing.
