Abrasive Technology Inc in Lewis Center, OH is seeking a Health and Safety (H&S) Specialist to develop, implement, and maintain safety programs in a manufacturing environment. You will conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations while promoting a culture of safety and regulatory compliance.

This full-time role requires 3+ years in manufacturing safety, OSHA/NEBOSH certifications, CPR/First Aid, and the ability to train employees.

Formación

• Certifications/trainings in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in health and safety within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal health and safety regulations applicable to manufacturing.
• Proven ability to conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations.
• CPR/First Aid certification.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies and procedures tailored to manufacturing operations.
• Conduct regular workplace inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Lead incident investigations, perform root cause analysis, document findings, and recommend, implement, and track corrective and preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
• Complete all required OSHA reporting.
• Provide training and guidance to employees and management on health and safety best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Lead Safety Captains committee.
• Participate in monthly Delaware Safety Council meetings and complete annual trainings as required by the Bureau of Worker's Compensation.
• Assist HR and TPA with management of Worker's Compensation cases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate safety considerations into operational processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
