Job summary

Menasha Corporation in Yukon, PA, is hiring for general labor roles where you’ll learn new skills and train into machine helpers and operators. You’ll work with a safety-forward team, supporting production on middle shifts. Opportunities for advancement and higher wages exist after 60 days.

Shifts are mainly 2nd and 3rd, with some 1st shift training. You must be comfortable with mandatory overtime and weekends to meet production needs. High School Diploma is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate commitment to safety and perform job duties in accordance with company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform job functions in an accurate and efficient manner, such as: machine operations including machine set up, packing, palletizing, bundling, stacking, etc.
• Assist operators in efficient operation of the machine centers.
• Demonstrate commitment to quality and perform job duties in adherence to customer standards.
• Understand production work orders, load tags, time sheets and all other relevant documents, and palletizing instructions.
• Understand computer system and input of data.
• Perform quality checks on finished corrugated products and identify defects.
• Maintain production efficiencies and standards.
• Play an active role in the maintenance and cleanliness of assigned equipment and surrounding work area.
• Understand department communication systems, schedules, time/attendance system and job reporting requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors
