Job summary

International Paper in San Antonio, TX is seeking a General Labor-Miscellaneous for the Day Shift. The role reports to the production supervisor and supports machine crews to keep production on track.

Key tasks include safety compliance, accurate record-keeping, and maintaining housekeeping standards across the plant. Training is provided to operate a forklift under IP requirements. This is an hourly full-time position with shift Mon-Fri 7am-3pm and potential weekend or OT as needed.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules and practices.
• Perform assigned duties to ensure production needs are met.
• Assist other associates as needed.
• Accurately use tape measures and other measurement equipment.
• Complete time sheets, reports, lists and records.
• Keep supervisor informed of problems/unusual situations.
• Maintain housekeeping to plant standards.
• Maintain general housekeeping throughout the plant.
• Complete daily assignments per Housekeeping Log.
• Learn to operate a forklift under IP requirements.
• Maintain teamwork with machine crews and other associates.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
