Job summary

The Kraft Group & Affiliates is seeking a General Helper to support manufacturing operations in Red Lion, PA. The role involves quality checks, material setup, assisting crew members and maintaining a clean workspace.

You will review schedules, prepare for operations, handle basic equipment, and help meet production, waste and quality goals while following safety rules and company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year manufacturing experience preferred.
• Good computer skills, ability to track inventory in a computer.
• Able to communicate with all team members and adhere to safety regulations; must be team player, organized and detail oriented.
• Able to multi task in an environment with frequent changing priorities; read a tape measure and use a wrench.
• Ability to operate a fork truck and/or clamp truck is preferred.
• Must meet company quality and performance standards for the job.
• Must be able to complete tasks with appropriate speed or productivity.

Responsibilities

• Review work schedule, check equipment and supplies required to perform the work scheduled.
• Prepare for operations, check and/or perform necessary completion of work from the previous shift.
• Clean area during the shift, secure equipment and machinery, and complete required paperwork.
• Assist or operate machinery to expected performance; assist with upset conditions; lifting as needed.
• Meet or exceed production, waste and quality goals; assist crew members and work in a team environment.
• Adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies and procedures.
• Handle special projects and assignments as business dictates.
