Job summary

SPX Technologies is seeking a Financial Analyst in Mason, Ohio, to partner with the Engineered Air Movement team. The role focuses on delivering accurate financial reporting, forecasting, operational analysis, and actionable insights to support profitable growth.

You will collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Finance leadership to strengthen controls and drive cost improvements in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, lookups, data analysis, and financial modeling.
• Experience with data mining and translating large data sets into financial insights.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to present financial information to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and understand financial reports; investigate unusual results and provide recommendations.
• Ensure integrity of general ledger; record inventory and manufacturing transactions accurately and timely.
• Provide financial guidance during Operations meetings and support decision making with dashboards.
• Maintain monthly close files including P&L, gross margin, and operating expense reports.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation for cost accounting and inventory.
