Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Quality Engineer to ensure compliance with ISO 22000 and 22002, and to provide quality engineering support to manufacturing. You will perform process validations (IQ/OQ/PQ), assist with FMEA and DOE, analyze failures, and drive continual improvement across processes.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science and 2+ years of quality engineering experience in medical or food packaging. Knowledge of SPC and QMS is preferred. Equal opportunity employer.

Responsibilities

• Assist with process validations (IQ, OQ, PQ) and product validations per customer requirements.
• Analyze failures and drive preventive and corrective actions for internal and external issues.
• Facilitate FMEA and perform DOE to optimize processes.
• Track, trend and report quality metrics to support continuous improvement.
• Support implementation and sustainment of SPC and quality management systems.
• Assist in engineering change orders and maintain ISO 13485 / FDA requirements.
• Conduct audits and close audit findings with effective corrective actions.
