You will optimize workflows, monitor KPIs, and ensure quality and safety standards while partnering with leadership on talent development and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

As a Manufacturing Floor Lead, you will drive operational excellence by overseeing daily production activities and fostering a high-performance team culture. You will play a pivotal role in optimizing workflows, ensuring quality standards, and empowering staff to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) through effective coaching and process management.

About the Role

Responsibilities

Direct daily production workflows to maximize resource utilization and meet output targets.
Cultivate an engaged, high-performing team through consistent feedback, mentorship, and clear communication of expectations.
Drive continuous improvement by conducting lean process audits and implementing effective countermeasures for operational bottlenecks.
Maintain the integrity of performance data and production metrics to ensure transparency and accountability.
Collaborate with leadership to assess talent development needs and provide hands‑on coaching on lean methodologies.
Ensure strict adherence to quality standards and safety protocols across all manufacturing processes.
Manage personnel matters, including staffing, performance reviews, and conflict resolution, in alignment with company policies.

Qualifications

Required Skills

Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and process improvement.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and data analysis.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead diverse teams.
Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Preferred Skills

College degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Prior experience with ERP systems or HR management software.
Technical background in wood, metal, or similar material fabrication.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot production equipment and resolve operational issues.
