Summary/Objective

Team Member is responsible for all the frame fabrication (ie: cutter, strip line, hitch or UD, finish, and landing gear). Day to day frames may vary based on schedules and blueprints provided. Required to follow safety and quality regulations established by Lippert.


Essential Functions


  1. Welding crossmembers and outriggers

  2. Squaring the Frame and Squaring/welding the pin boxes

  3. Welding the bumper and hitches on

  4. Mounting or setting the Upper Deck and Welding the UD

  5. Applying camber to the frame, checking camber and square

  6. Installing and time Slide outs

  7. Marking the rails for holes, slide outs, axels, beaver tails, etc.

  8. Blowing the holes in the main rails and plasma cutting any holes needed.

  9. Welding axel hangers on and welding brackets for jacks and slide outs

  10. Cutting and welding the beaver tail.

  11. Transferring the rails to a storage rack.

  12. Welding draw bars

  13. Welding coupler and safety chains

  14. Check square on A-Frame

  15. Welding different structural shapes (ie: tube to plate), and anything that jig was unable to weld

  16. Getting a cut list in order

  17. Calling for material

  18. Prepping material to be cut, and then cutting it

  19. Organizing material in racks

  20. Install and weld landing gear/brackets

  21. Welding bottom pan

  22. Welding LP trays and battery boxes

  23. Finishing holes in the upper deck

  24. Scans finished frames into computer

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a Team Member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.


While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The Team Member may have to lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.


Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time hourly position, and hours/days of work are decided by production schedules and your reporting manager.


Travel

Travel will be minimal to none and would be primarily local during the business day.


Required Education and Experience


  1. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
