Job summary

A stable manufacturing firm in Knoxville is seeking a skilled and educated Controller to manage financial direction and internal controls. This mid-senior level position involves leading financial planning and forecasting while improving staff capabilities. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and manufacturing accounting experience. Salary range is $90,000 to $105,000 with bonuses and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting or Finance is mandatory.
• Cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Strong inventory experience required.
• Excellent skills in PC and spreadsheets needed.
• Experience with Infor SyteLine and Power BI is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial direction and manage internal control environment.
• Lead planning, forecasting, reporting, and target setting for complete financial consistency.
• Develop and coach staff; drive continuous improvement during a new accounting implementation in 2027.
