Morrisons in Bradford's Greenside facility seeks a Manufacturing Accountant to join a 24/7 operation. You’ll be the financial partner to site operations, driving profitability and ensuring robust controls across 44 production lines and six operations.

You’ll own weekly and periodic reporting, contribute to CapEx planning, and translate complex numbers into actionable insights for operational leaders. This role demands meticulous attention to detail in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA).
• Experience in fast-paced manufacturing environments preferred.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Attention to detail with ability to prioritise deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Business Partnering: Act as a true commercial partner to Site Operations Managers, driving financial performance right on the shop floor.
• Champion Profitability: Proactively identify cost-saving initiatives and volume-growth opportunities to boost the site's profitability.
• Build Strong Networks: Collaborate daily with a diverse range of stakeholders, bridging the manufacturing site and our trading teams.
• Own the Numbers: Take charge of our weekly and periodic reporting (including accruals and prepayments), keeping your finger on the pulse of the site's financial health.
• Drive Strategic Growth: Play a key role in shaping site strategy, capital expenditure (CapEx) plans, and high-impact projects.
• Protect the Business: Ensure robust financial controls are maintained across this large‑scale operation.
