Job summary

ENTEK Manufacturing LLC in Lebanon, Oregon is seeking an Assistant Controller to lead manufacturing accounting, financial reporting, cost accounting, and internal controls in a fast-paced environment. You will partner with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Sales, and Project Management to drive performance, support budgeting and forecasting, and provide strategic financial insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• 5-7 years accounting experience including general ledger, reconciliations, GAAP, audits, cost accounting, budgeting/forecasting.
• CPA or CMA preferred.
• Experience with creating financial statements and month-end close processes.
• MS Excel proficiency; AX or D365 experience a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret accounting documents and regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Ability to communicate in conversational English.

Responsibilities

• Lead critical accounting functions and act as a strategic partner across ENTEK's manufacturing operations.
• Support month-end close including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Oversee inventory existence, movement, costing and reserves.
• Assist controller with accounts receivable and payable oversight.
• Collaborate with operations, sales, and supply chain on a day-to-day basis.
• Analyze financial information to support monthly, quarterly, and annual results.
• Support fixed assets recording and cost allocations.
• Assist with audits and tax compliance for separator companies.
• Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Develop and document standardized processes and internal controls.
• Prepare accounting memos and process documentation.
