Sygma Petroleum Technology is seeking a part-time Manufacturing Finance Manager to oversee financial operations for the manufacturing division. The role reports to the CFO and focuses on controls, budgeting, and cost management.

The ideal candidate has a finance or accounting degree with 5+ years in finance, preferably in manufacturing, and strong leadership abilities. The position is office-based with occasional travel and a flexible schedule to support business needs.

Formación

• Finance or accounting degree with at least 5 years in finance, preferably manufacturing.
• Strong cost accounting and inventory management knowledge.
• Budgeting, forecasting and FP&A expertise; analytical and problem-solving mindset.
• CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills; able to lead a team.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain financial controls and procedures for the manufacturing division.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Finance Manager to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our manufacturing division and ensuring that all financial processes are in compliance with company policies and procedures. This position will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain financial controls and procedures for the manufacturing division
• Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing regular reports to management

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of cost accounting and inventory management
• Experience with financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software systems
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Knowledge of financial regulations and laws
• CPA or CMA certification is a plus

Working Conditions:

This is a part-time position, with a commitment of 20 hours per week. The Manufacturing Finance Manager will work primarily in an office setting, with occasional travel to manufacturing facilities. The candidate must be able to work flexible hours to accommodate business needs.
