Job summary

Bright Innovation Labs in the United States (Ohio) seeks a Senior Operations Finance Manager to partner with Operations, oversee manufacturing controlling, cost accounting, budgeting and forecasting, and drive continuous improvement for profitability and efficiency. You will support plant leadership, develop financial models, and deliver actionable insights to executive management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing finance.
• Cost accounting experience required.
• Experience with ERP systems (Deacom, SAP or similar).
• LEAN/Six Sigma or Continuous Improvement experience preferred.
• Experience in Beauty, Personal Care, Cosmetics, or contract manufacturing industries is a plus.
• MBA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manufacturing finance and cost accounting leadership across production operations.
• Maintain standard costing, BOM structures, labor rates, and overhead models.
• Analyze variances: material usage, labor, yield, scrap, waste, overhead absorption.
• Partner with Plant Leadership to identify cost savings and improve profitability.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and rolling financial planning for Operations.
• Develop dashboards and scorecards for manufacturing performance (KPIs).
• Act as finance business partner to Operations, Engineering, and Procurement.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and internal controls/compliance.
