Confidential Employer in North Atlanta, GA is seeking a Finance Manager to partner with Manufacturing leadership. This role oversees plant financial performance, cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis while supporting growth initiatives including acquisitions and capital projects.

The ideal candidate combines strong cost accounting expertise with operational insight and the ability to translate financial data into actionable business decisions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in manufacturing finance roles (plant cost accounting, controller, or plant finance manager).
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required.
• CPA or CMA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead finance for new operational initiatives, acquisitions, and organic growth projects.
• Own plant conversion costs, budgeting, forecasting, standard setting, and variance analysis.
• Lead monthly operating and financial reviews with plant and operations leadership.
• Perform detailed analysis of manufacturing costs, variances, and standard costing.
• Lead financial reviews of manufacturing KPIs, inventory, and ERP standards.
• Manage cost allocation, control, and reduction strategies.
• Analyze cost savings initiatives and track financial impact and ROI.
• Provide financial analysis for capital investments, facilities, and equipment projects.
• Support annual inventory audits and process improvements.
