Job summary

Cagayan State University seeks a data-driven analyst to support manufacturing planning, forecasting, and financial health decisions. You’ll apply analytical methods to optimize spending and improve profitability.

You will analyze operating costs, build trend analyses, and participate in planning meetings and reviews. You’ll collaborate across teams, mentor junior analysts, and use modern analytics and AI-enabled tools to drive decisions.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a business degree program such as Finance, Accounting, Economics, Agribusiness, Management, Entrepreneurship, or related fields.
• Eligible for full-time employment no later than Summer 2028.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
• Experience with analytics and visualization tools to support decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, forecasting, and analytical activities for manufacturing operations' major business decisions and financial health.
• Analyze operating costs of manufacturing processes and build trend analyses comparing expected versus actual spend; recommend optimization opportunities.
• Participate actively in business planning meetings, team interactions, and profitability review sessions.
• Collaborate with mentors to define and manage tasks for multiple analytic, data-driven projects.
• Use decision-making frameworks to identify optimal alternatives addressing emerging business opportunities.
