Job summary

AdvanSix is seeking a Manufacturing Finance Director to lead the financial strategy for our manufacturing operations. You will partner with Plant Leadership, Operations, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams to drive performance, budgeting, forecasting, and capital investments.

The role requires strong FP&A leadership, deep understanding of manufacturing costs, and the ability to influence decision-making at all levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 8–12+ years of experience in FP&A and manufacturing environments including leadership roles.
• Experience with FP&A systems implementation or optimization.
• Strong understanding of financial planning processes and data structures.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate financial results into actionable insights for operational and strategic decisions.
• Lead annual budget, strategic planning, and monthly forecasting for manufacturing operations.
• Develop financial models to assess investments and initiatives.
• Monitor KPIs and report to senior leadership with recommendations.
• Oversee inventory, cost accounting, and working capital management.
