Job summary

Atlantic Group in the United States seeks a senior finance leader to direct financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range strategic planning for manufacturing operations.

The role partners with Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Sales leadership to drive financial performance, implement robust internal controls, and optimize ERP-based reporting. A CPA/MBA and 10+ years in manufacturing finance are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• MBA, CPA, CMA or similar professional certification preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, with 5+ years in manufacturing finance leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead all financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range strategic planning.
• Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Sales leadership.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting under GAAP.
• Manage manufacturing cost accounting: standard costing, inventory valuation, variance analysis.
• Analyze manufacturing performance: labor, material usage, overhead, scrap, variances.
• Develop and monitor KPIs to support decision-making.
• Lead inventory management and financial controls for accuracy.
• Evaluate capex and ROI analyses for manufacturing initiatives.
• Support pricing strategies and margin improvement.
• Ensure internal controls and regulatory compliance including SOX.
• Oversee cash flow forecasting and working capital management.
• Partner with external auditors and support annual audits.
• Drive process improvements, automation, ERP optimization.
• Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team.

Job description

• Lead all financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range strategic planning activities.
• Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Sales leadership to drive financial performance and operational excellence.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with GAAP.
• Manage manufacturing cost accounting, including standard costing, inventory valuation, variance analysis, and product costing.
• Analyze manufacturing performance, including labor efficiency, material usage, overhead absorption, scrap, and production variances.
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to support operational and financial decision-making.
• Lead inventory management and financial controls related to inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and physical inventories.
• Evaluate capital expenditures, business cases, and return-on-investment (ROI) analyses for manufacturing initiatives.
• Support pricing strategies and margin improvement through financial modeling and profitability analysis.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, corporate policies, and regulatory requirements, including SOX (if applicable).
• Oversee cash flow forecasting and working capital management.
• Partner with external auditors and support annual financial audits.
• Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and ERP optimization to enhance financial reporting and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including 5+ years in manufacturing finance leadership.
• Demonstrated experience managing finance teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
• Experience supporting multi-site manufacturing operations is preferred.
