Job summary

James Hardie is seeking an Account Coordinator I to support finance and operations, handling data entry, reconciliations, and monthly SOX controls. The role partners with production and purchasing teams to ensure accurate material receipt and timely close.

The position emphasizes accuracy, initiative, and strong Excel skills within a manufacturing setting, with opportunities for bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting preferred.
• Accounting coursework or exposure preferred.
• Manufacturing environment experience preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems; SAP exposure a plus.
• Experience working in Excel and other Microsoft applications preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills both in-person and over the phone.
• Detail oriented with accuracy in processes and tasks.

Responsibilities

• Enter and reconcile production and operational data.
• Escalate discrepancies and support monthly SOX controls.
• Serve as site production confirmation point of contact with stakeholders.
• Receive raw materials and reconcile key raw materials in SAP.
• Assist in invoicing, purchase orders, and aged receipts.
• Support month-end close activities and RTY reporting.
