Job summary

Crane Resistoflex in Georgia seeks a Financial Analyst to partner with the site controller and finance leaders, analyzing financial and operational results while supporting monthly forecasting and the Annual Operating Plan. You will develop hands-on manufacturing accounting and cost analyses, leveraging Hyperion HFM and ERP tools to drive actionable insights.

Ideal candidates have a B.S. in accounting or finance, strong Excel skills, and 2–3 years of accounting experience with solid GAAP and SOX

Qualifications

• B.S. in accounting, finance, or related degree.
• Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office software.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of GAAP and current accounting practices, with a willingness to deepen technical accounting knowledge on the job.
• Working Knowledge of SOX compliance.

Responsibilities

• Supports monthly review and analysis of key variances in Balance Sheet and Income Statements.
• Supports site financial controls, including SOX compliance, inventory controls, product costing, and ERP transactions.
• Develop understanding of Crane's business, operations, and structure through cross-functional engagement.
• Apply Operational Excellence tools to improve processes and communicate financial impact of decisions.
• Develop and enhance templates for month-end close, forecasting, budgeting, and planning activities.
• Assist with the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), forecasts, monthly outlooks, and weekly financial reviews.
• Partner with finance leaders to identify and implement process improvements.
• Validate HFM submissions and support year-end reporting schedules.
• Prepare HFM-based financial reports and analyses for operations and senior management.
• Assist in developing presentations on financial performance, forecasts, budgets, and results.
• Support reconciliations and internal control documentation (RCMs).
• Perform product and product-line profitability analyses and identify cost-improvement opportunities.
• Produce key performance reports including cash flow, inventory turns, capex, backlog, and workforce metrics.
• Support SOX compliance initiatives and internal control environment.
• Participate in special projects to broaden financial and operational leadership experience.
