Job summary

Crane Resistoflex, a Crane Co. brand, seeks a Financial Analyst to analyze financial performance and support manufacturing operations in Marion, NC. You will partner with site controllers and finance leaders to forecast, prepare the Annual Operating Plan, and drive data-driven decisions across cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes manufacturing accounting, cost analysis, and HFM reporting, offering exposure to ERP systems and internal controls in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• B.S. in accounting, finance, or related degree.
• Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office software.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of GAAP and current accounting practices.
• Working knowledge of SOX compliance.

Responsibilities

• Analyze monthly variances in Balance Sheet and Income Statements for Resistoflex brand.
• Support site financial controls, including SOX, inventory controls, product costing, and ERP transactions.
• Develop understanding of Crane’s business and organization through cross-functional engagement.
• Apply Operational Excellence tools to improve processes and communicate financial impact.
• Develop and enhance templates for month-end close, forecasting, budgeting and financial planning.
• Assist with the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), quarterly forecasts, monthly outlooks, and weekly financial pulse reviews.
• Partner with finance leaders to identify and implement process improvements.
• Validate HFM submissions and support year-end reporting schedules.
• Prepare HFM-based financial reports and analyses for operations and senior management.
• Assist in developing presentations on financial performance, forecasts, budgets, and business results.
• Support account reconciliations and internal control documentation, including RCMs.
• Perform product and product line profitability analysis and identify cost improvements.
• Prepare and analyse key performance reports such as cash flow, inventory turns, capital spending, backlog, and headcount.
