Job summary

PACCAR is a Fortune 500 company seeking a Financial Analyst to support daily accounting activities related to new engine program development, with ongoing interaction with Senior Management in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include cost management, month-end close, forecasting for plant activities, SOX documentation, and driving continuous improvement in plant accounting processes. A degree in Accounting and 3–5 years of experience are required.

Qualifications

Degree in Accounting required. CPA/CMA or Master’s Degree preferred.
3 to 5 years’ experience in Accounting required, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong collaboration, analytical and accounting skills, attention to detail.
Must have demonstrated leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Provide project cost management services such as cost estimates and invoice analysis.
Prepare various management reports, financial comments and provide any key data as requested.
Responsible for Month-End Close Activities for timely and accurate reporting.
Manage forecast for plant related activities.
Participate in internal control reviews, including Sarbanes-Oxley documentation and testing.
Participate/assist in projects related to plant accounting processes.
Participate in Physical inventory counts, Quarterly Statistical Audits and cycle counts.
Ensure compliance with internal control policies and keep accounting procedures updated.
Contribute to plant continuous improvement activities.
Maintain effective oral and written communications, externally and internally.
