MP Biomedicals in Solon, OH is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join the Finance team. The role covers general accounting, month-end close, inventory and manufacturing accounting, and financial reporting in a regulated life sciences environment.

The ideal candidate has a solid accounting foundation, hands-on experience with GAAP, cost accounting, and ERP systems, along with strong Excel and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• 2–5 years of manufacturing accounting experience required.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and month-end close experience.
• Advanced Excel skills with pivots and lookups.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform general accounting, month-end close and reconciliations.
• Support inventory and manufacturing accounting, cost analysis.
• Prepare financial statements and management reports.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal controls.
• Assist in ERP system enhancements and process improvements.
