Job summary

FPC National is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our manufacturing accounting team. This role acts as a key financial partner to manufacturing and operations, driving month-end close, full-cycle accounting, and continuous improvement initiatives that improve performance and profitability.

You will support inventory accounting and reconciliations, evaluate capital investments with ROI analysis, and build dashboards to monitor plant performance and productivity.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing finance, full-cycle accounting, or financial analysis within a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to build financial models.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly financial close, inventory accounting, and manufacturing-related reconciliations.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Shipping to evaluate capital investment opportunities, including ROI and payback analysis.
• Build financial metrics and dashboards to track plant performance, productivity initiatives, and KPIs.
• Assist with select accounts payable functions, ensuring manufacturing expenditures are coded and approved.
