Qualifications

• Strong accounting background in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in general ledger accounting, reconciliations, AP and AR.
• Experience with inventory and COGS reporting in manufacturing.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks for financial records.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of the financial function.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting and financial operations within a manufacturing environment
• Maintain accurate and complete financial records using QuickBooks
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Manage general ledger activity, account reconciliations, and month end close
• Manage and reconcile inventory related accounting activity
• Monitor COGS and manufacturing related costs
• Support inventory valuation and ensure accurate inventory reporting
• Review manufacturing costs, margins, and related financial activity
• Prepare and review financial statements and management reports
• Monitor cash flow and provide visibility into the company financial position
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Ensure financial records are accurate, organized, and current
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting
• Work closely with company leadership and operations to provide meaningful financial information that supports business decisions
• Take ownership of accounting and financial processes as the company continues to grow
