Job summary
Empire Abrasive Equipment Co. in Bucks County, PA seeks a General Maintenance/Utility Assistant to support shop operations and perform light facility maintenance. You will help keep the plant clean, conduct routine preventive maintenance on equipment, and perform daily forklift inspections.

Qualifications
- 2–3 years in manufacturing maintenance and preventive maintenance on typical equipment.
- Basics of electrical and plumbing principles.
- Experience operating forklift trucks and other material handling equipment.
- Good mechanical aptitude and desire/ability to learn.
- Familiar with basic hand and power tools.
- Detail and quality oriented; strong time management and communication.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of the plant and support shop operations.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on shop equipment and facilities.
- Conduct daily forklift inspections and complete inspection logs.
- Renew floor lines and support housekeeping as needed.
- Assist with other activities as assigned.
