Job summary

Westfall Technik, LLC is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain production machinery and facility systems in a manufacturing setting. The role focuses on keeping equipment safe and running efficiently through troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities include performing corrective and preventive maintenance, keeping detailed maintenance logs in CMMS, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, multimeters, PLCs, and other diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• CMMS familiarity is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent time management and prioritization.
• Team player with strong communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on production machinery, tools, and facility systems (e.g., HVAC, compressors, electrical panels).
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues using diagnostic tools and schematics.
• Repair or replace defective components, including motors, bearings, belts, sensors, pumps, valves, and wiring.
• Perform welding, fabrication, or machining when necessary for equipment repair or modification.
• Execute scheduled PM tasks according to maintenance schedules and manufacturer specifications.
• Document all maintenance and service activities in maintenance logs or CMMS.
• Identify trends in equipment failure and recommend long-term solutions.
• Support building and utility maintenance including lighting, plumbing, HVAC, and safety systems.
• Respond promptly to facility maintenance requests and ensure safety compliance.
• Assist in plant or equipment upgrades, installations, and relocations.
• Follow OSHA safety regulations and lockout/tagout procedures.
