Job summary

Ultimate Staffing seeks a hands-on Manufacturing Fabrication Technician for our plastics-focused shop. You will operate fabrication equipment, including blow molding, CNC machining, and laser cutting, to produce finished parts that meet exact customer specifications.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED and the ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 45 pounds, and read prints and production instructions.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing fabrication or plastics is preferred.
• Ability to read and follow prints, drawings and production specifications.
• Experience using rulers, calipers and tape measures for inspection.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

We are seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Fabrication Technician to support production operations in a custom manufacturing environment. This role involves working with plastics and fabrication equipment to produce high-quality finished products according to customer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform production processes including:
• Custom blow molding
• CNC machining
• Laser cutting
• Other fabrication processes as needed
• Operate ovens to heat and form raw materials.
• Set up tools and machines for production runs.
• Fabricate finished products through routing, trimming, drilling, gluing, and polishing.
• Read and interpret drawings, prints, and production instructions.
• Use rulers, tape measures, and calipers to verify dimensions and specifications.
• Perform quality control inspections to ensure products meet established standards.
• Pack and label finished products for shipment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in manufacturing fabrication, CNC machining, composites, plastics manufacturing, or a similar hands-on production environment.
• Ability to stand and walk for 7+ hours per day.
• Ability to safely lift up to 45 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new processes.
• Ability to read and follow prints, drawings, and production specifications.
• Experience using rulers, tape measures, and calipers for dimensional inspection.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
