Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a Manufacturing Expeditor 3 who will expedite, route, and dispatch materials to align with production schedules. You will review schedules, identify shortages, and generate progress reports to keep orders on track.

The role requires a high school diploma with 4 years of related experience, SAP familiarity, and strong teamwork and office skills. On-site work with a comprehensive benefits package is provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 4 years additional education and/or experience in manufacturing, production control, or related fields.
• Experience using SAP or similar ERP/MRP system.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams.
• Functional understanding of Microsoft Office Products.
• Must be able to lift 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Expedites, routes, and dispatches material and parts in accordance with production schedules and commitments.
• Reviews master production schedule to determine possible and actual shortages and alerts proper authorities of potential problems.
• Generates progress reports on schedule status and keeps records of completed orders.
• Takes appropriate action to expedite materials such as order damaged material repaired or in-house material transportation.
• Reports on completion dates, material changes or substitutions, shortages, and schedule modifications.
